The firm also represented the Student Union in various struggles concerning state budget and tuition. The firm provided ongoing legal advice regarding the organization’s procedures and election campaign.
The firm also specializes in the unique public field of Election Laws. The firm represented, inter alia, “Yesh Atid” party; the “Haavoda” (Labor) Party in the appeal concerning forgery of elections; and also closely accompanied the (former) Minister of Internal Security, Avi Dichter, in his campaign for leadership of the “Kadima” party.
Furthermore, the firm represented the (former) Accountant General, Prof. Yaron Zelicha in his claim against his dismissal from the Ministry of Finance, in which protection for whistleblowers was instituted on behalf of the State Comptroller.
The firm also represented Gondar Eli Gabizon in his appeal before the High Court of Justice regarding his appointment as Prisons Service Commissioner.
The firm also represented Member of Knesset Gilad Erdan in his petition against the Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Knesset and the Minister of Finance, regarding interference in internal parliamentary procedures.
The firm represented the mayor of a local council in an appeal submitted to the Supreme Court regarding election bribery, and it represents additional mayors of local councils in various disputes.
As part of the public struggles handled by our firm, we represent also soldiers who were victims of the Anthrax experiments during their military service, and we also represent hundreds of shop owners in the new central bus station of Tel Aviv.
The firm voluntarily represents the workers association, ‘Kav La’Oved’ in principal petitions relating to foreign employee rights, and represents the Movement for Freedom of Information in petitions relating to disclosure of information of public importance (surveillance tapes in the Knesset; budget of the Tel Aviv municipality; etc.).
