Adv. Johan is a partner and head of the firm’s real estate department. He specializes in representing complex real estate transactions and accompanying large scale residential, commercial and office projects. In addition, Adv. Johan specializes in accompanying real estate financing transactions, urban renewal and purchasing groups.
Adv. Johan has many years of experience in the field of real estate and civil litigation. During his studies at the Hebrew University, he joined the firm of the late Adv. Jacob Weinroth. For years, he worked alongside Adv. Weinroth until 2006, when he established the real estate department and became partner. In 2019, after Adv. Weinroth’s passing, the real estate department under his management merged with the law firm of Adv. Boaz Ben Zur.
Over the years, Adv. Johan and his team have accompanied the construction of thousands of residential units nationwide, complex, yielding and commercial real estate transactions, developers, contractors and urban renewal projects. Adv. Johan’s business orientation enables his clients to gain from a combined business and legal perspective. Adv. Johan further specializes in representing his clients in planning and construction committees, compensation and betterment levy committees and in bank financing for complex projects.
Adv. Johan holds an undergraduate degree in Law (LL.B) cum laude and a graduate degree in Law (LL.M), majoring in commercial law, both from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Admitted to the Israel Bar Association in 2003 and certified as notary in 2014.
Adv. Johan served as Deputy Counsel for the Israel Bar Association Land Committee and Planning and Construction Committee (Tel Aviv district), was a member of the team that formulated the bill for enabling purchasing group transactions, was a court appointed trustee for the construction of an orphanage on behalf of Sami Shamoon’s estate, served as a director at “Binyan Habima” and appears as a guest lecturer at the Ono Academic College School of Law.
